Comment créer et utiliser un virtuel disque sur windows 7/8/8.1/10

Virtual hard disks (VHDs) are a file type that acts like a hard disk. In previous versions of Windows, VHDs were used by virtual machines, such as those created by Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 or Microsoft Virtual PC. Additionally, Complete PC Backup in Windows Vista created a copy of the computer’s hard disk as a VHD disk image.
How can i create a VHD on Windows ?
To create a virtual hard drive on Windows just follow the few steps bellow :
1- Right clock on your computer and chose manage :
2- In Computer Management click on Disk Managment from the liste :
3- On Action menu chose "Create VHD" :
4- In this menu you can chose Location,size and the format for your VHD :
5- After creating the VHD go back to Disk Managment and you will see the virtual drive listed as unallocated space :
6- Right click and chose "Initialize disk" option :
7- Chose the partition style ( MBR : Default) and hit ok :
8- Now right click on your disk and chose "New Simple Volume" :
9- The New Simple Volume Wizard starts up and it’s just a matter of completing it :
Choose the amount of space you want to use for the volume :
Assign it a dive letter :
Format the new volume as NTFS, FAT32, or FAT :
The wizard is complete, click on Finish :
Finaly your VHD is ready to use and you can encrypt it, share it out to other systems, store files to it…
